I deleted my myspace.

But first I went through all 45 pages of 2,221 comments.

My first comment was in 2004, I might have just turned 18.
It's no wonder I hesitated deleting it the past couple months.
It was my digital yearbook.

Went through inside jokes forgotten.
Memories faded and frayed.
Good friends now distant strangers.
Mushy comments from a past love.

I don't know, I just had this feeling that I wanted to put it away.
Not to erase it necessarily, but move on, leave different footprints.

Dizzy Jakes tour

I'm sorry to have neglected you, journal.

Did I tell you I graduated college in December? I did. I just got my diploma in the mail. Did I mention I worked for Talking House Records as a marketing assistant for a while? That I did too. When that stint ended, I went on tour with the bands Dizzy Balloon and The Jakes for the month of March. I was Dizzy's merch girl/ tour mama. Now I am one of their managers.

My life isn't moving, it's dancing.

Valentine's Day,
Steph made me a homemade valentine card with Harry Potter, Zac Efron, and the Jonas Brothers collaged all over it.
I spent the evening pillow fighting with friends and strangers.

Sunday,
I woke early
to go wedding dress shopping for my best friend Regina.

Childhood and adulthood.
I'll always belong to them both.

political savoire

Some of my choice political media stories as of late:

This was a fantastic debate. Bravo Jon Stewart.

This is too late, but I do love me NPH.

An interesting article about Obama's chief speechwriter, 27-year-old Jon Favreau.

I love Gap commercials. They're so nostalgic.

I never realized I knew so many.
